Atty. Jeanne Caroline M. Vertido
Senior Associate
Atty. Jeanne Caroline M. Vertido, fondly known as “Atty. Carol,” is a Senior Associate of the Firm and a Commissioned Notary Public for Pasig City and Pateros. She has been a member of the Philippine Bar since 2022.
Atty. Vertido obtained her Bachelor of Science in Legal Management from De La Salle Lipa, and later earned her Juris Doctor (Thesis Program) degree from the University of the East. Before joining SCA Law, she gained valuable experience working in several key government agencies, including the Department of Justice (DOJ), the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH), and most recently, the Department of Health (DOH), where she was involved in the review of government procurement contracts during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Her areas of specialization include Labor Law, Corporate Law, Criminal Law, Administrative Law, and Civil Law, with particular proficiency in contract drafting and review
Atty. Anjanette T. Perez
Junior Associate
Atty. Anjanette T. Perez completed her tertiary education at Far Eastern University, where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. She pursued her legal studies at San Beda College – Alabang School of Law, obtaining her Juris Doctor degree in 2023.
Atty. Perez took the Bar Examinations in September 2023 and was admitted to the Philippine Bar in December 2023.
She is currently a Junior Associate Lawyer at Santiago, Cruz and Associates Law Offices (SCA Law), where she handles civil, criminal, and corporate law cases.
Atty. Vanessa Marie G. Oyos, J.D.
Junior Associate
Atty. Vanessa Marie G. Oyos is a legal practitioner with experience in both private practice and government service. She assists in case evaluation, client counseling, and court appearances, and is skilled in drafting pleadings, contracts, and other legal documents with strict adherence to laws and regulatory policies.
Beyond her legal practice, she serves as Host and Vice President for Membership and External Relations at the Consumers Union of the Philippines, where she co-hosts the public service program “Consumers Desk” alongside Dean Rodel Taton—advocating for consumer rights and protection.
Atty. Oyos is also a Professorial Lecturer at the University of Perpetual Help System DALTA, teaching Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) – Arbitration. She previously served as Project Specialist/Legal Consultant at the Privatization and Management Office, Planning Officer III at the Philippine Commission on Women, and Legal Officer at Powerminds of Asia.
She earned her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Perpetual Help System DALTA – College of Law, where she later joined the faculty to share her expertise in arbitration and dispute resolution.
Her diverse legal background reflects a strong commitment to ethical advocacy, consumer protection, and public service.
Atty. Riz Ponti

Atty. Riz Ponti is a Junior Associate at Santiago, Cruz and Associates Law Offices (SCA Law), where she supports the Firm’s litigation and advisory practice. A member of the Philippine Bar and a Juris Doctor graduate of the University of the Philippines, she brings both depth and discernment to every case she handles.
Before joining the Firm, Atty. Ponti gained diverse experience in legal research, corporate compliance, and client relations, working with both entrepreneurial ventures and institutional organizations. Her background in digital communications and community engagement enables her to approach legal work with empathy, clarity, and an appreciation for the people and stories behind each matter.
Deeply committed to lifelong service, Atty. Ponti is passionate about empowering individuals—particularly women, survivors, and small business owners— to navigate the law with confidence and dignity.
Atty. Edward G. Hipe
Associate Lawyer
Atty. Edward G. Hipe is a dynamic and detail-oriented legal practitioner who brings a solid foundation in both law and business to his legal practice. He earned his Juris Doctor degree from Adamson University College of Law, where he developed a strong interest in corporate law, commercial transactions, and dispute resolution.
During his time in law school, Atty. Hipe served as President of the Falcones Legis Societas, Adamson University’s premier law fraternity—a role that highlights his dedication to leadership, mentorship, and service within the legal community.
Before pursuing his legal career, he completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Santo Tomas, earning a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, major in Business Economics. This business background provides him with a strategic perspective and a deep understanding of the economic and operational considerations that shape his clients’ legal needs.
Atty. Hipe passed the Philippine Bar Examinations in 2024 and was admitted to the Bar in January 2025. His growing practice focuses on corporate and commercial law, civil litigation, and regulatory compliance, where he is known for his pragmatic, solutions oriented approach.
